Journey: A Northern Lights Adventure is a science fiction book about five men who are teleported into Virginia at the time of the Civil War. This book is an easy read and very imaginative. I would use this book in a Creative Writing class for middle school grades. I would ask my students to write a paper on where and what time period they would want to be transported to.
