Finley, C. (1998). Art of the Far North: Inuit Sculpture, Drawing, and Printmaking. Minneapolis: Lerner. I like this book because it explores different disciplines of art (sculpture, drawing, and printmaking) and a culture that creates the Inuit style of art. This book introduces the readers to different cultures and expands their appreciation and awareness of multicultural art. It is appropriate for high school and middle school grades. I would use this book in a Social Studies to explore different culture. Art History classes can analyze the artworks and Visual Art classes can learn the process of art making.
