The Velveteen Rabbit is a classic Children's Book in my family! My mother read this story to us so much because her mother read it to her! The book has a wonderful message about being kind to others and thinking about others' feelings. I would use this book in a Art History Course lesson in comparing and contrasting illustrations. I could also use this book in a Visual Art class and have students illustrate their own book. This book is appropriate for all ages.
